Do not assume equal behaviour from equal labels

Two films described by the same family can differ in gauge, stiffness, static and shrink profile. A converter or grade change should be assessed against the feed path, cutter, former or mandrel and tunnel recipe.

Keep reel labels and batch references with good and faulty samples so material variation can be separated from machine setup.

Select the material and tunnel together. A film that gives the desired artwork coverage still has to suit the site utilities, container heat or moisture limits, production speed and downstream condition.
